Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse on all shifts.
- Daily removal of recyclables and empty pallets from pick modules.
- Sweep and scrub floors regularly to uphold hygiene standards.
- Unload return trailers and sort materials appropriately.
- Assist on the boxline as needed.
- Respond to spill calls promptly and clean affected areas, including warehouse racking and damaged products.
- Clean restrooms and break rooms, restocking supplies as needed.
- Strip and wax floors, ensuring a pristine environment.
- Manage waste disposal by emptying trash in all departments and in the outdoor area.
- Follow company cleaning procedures to ensure compliance and safety.
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift cleaning supplies weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Experience operating floor cleaning machinery and motorized equipment (electric pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
- Strong manual dexterity and coordination with a focus on safety.
- Ability to learn and execute proper sanitation procedures effectively.
- Must be alert and attentive to perform tasks accurately.
- Familiarity with cleaning agent labels and safe handling procedures is a plus.
