Job Details
The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the facility. This is a physically demanding role requiring individuals to be on their feet for the majority of the shift in a fast-paced environment. Associates will load, unload, pick, and distribute products while maintaining safety and quality standards. Due to the nature of the work environment, employees should expect exposure to varying temperatures, loud machinery, and other warehouse conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets and individual cases to and from trailers.
- Collect and store empty pallet boards.
- Pick appropriate cases based on order requirements using warehouse technology.
- Restack fallen products in trailers when necessary.
- Load trailers using carts or by stacking cases on the trailer floor.
- Receive and distribute products and assist in weekly product inventory.
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation tasks (e.g., sweeping floors, cleaning trailers, taking out trash).
- Safely lift and move objects weighing between 15 lbs and 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
- Follow all safety rules and use appropriate PPE, including steel-toe boots.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and off-shifts as needed.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull products repeatedly during the shift.
- Comfort working in environments with extreme temperatures, high humidity, loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with coordinators, peers, and supervisors.
- Ability to adapt to schedule changes, production demands, and environmental conditions.
- Willingness to learn and use warehouse technology and automated systems.
- Strong work ethic with a focus on performance, efficiency, and teamwork.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and automated technology.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
