The UX team plays an integral part in gathering insights about the behaviors and perceptions of people who use our products to inspire and inform design. As a Visual Designer, you'll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiencesfrom concept to execution. Like all of our UX jobs, you'll collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000-$157,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of visual design experience in product design or UX Design.
• Experience with fundamental interaction design principles.
• Experience designing consumer-facing products.
• Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience leading design projects.
• Experience with video creation platforms or related media spaces.
• Experience with motion design.

Responsibilities:

• Help communicate design approach to other designers or partners (e.g., product manager).
• Create design specifications (e.g., design specs, mock-ups, or product models) for implementation.
• Identify design solutions to user, product, and business problems. Respond to evolving design constraints.
• Apply essential design principles, patterns, and systems, use design tools and processes to help develop mock-ups or prototypes. Identify product or platform requirements. Follow well-defined design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines.
• Identify design solutions based on user insights, business needs, and industry trends that help achieve business objectives.
