Vacuum Truck Route Driver - Class B CDL

Safety-Kleen is searching for a motivated Class B Vacuum Truck Route Driver (Vacuum Sales and Service Representative) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage a designated route and operate a Vacuum Truck to pick up industrial waste from various clients, including automotive repair shops and quick oil change businesses, and transport it to disposal sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety practices and policies to maintain a safe work environment.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites daily and provide high-quality service.
• Perform physical labor to meet customer needs at various locations.
• Ensure timely completion of scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Maintain accurate documentation and labeling of services provided.
• Identify and generate new sales leads from existing customers.
• Promote additional products and services to current accounts.
• Actively seek out new account opportunities within your assigned route.
• Take ownership of primary accounts in your assigned route and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate the vehicle according to all transportation guidelines.
• Adhere to corporate and environmental health and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Class B CDL.
• Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of hire.
• Proficiency in using various mobile devices.
• Availability to work in all weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
• Physical capability to perform job requirements.
• Background check, drug test, and physical exam must be successfully completed.
• Must meet facial hair standards as outlined in OSHA's Respiratory Protection standard.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience as a commercial driver.
• Prior Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Previous Hazmat handling experience.
• Experience in route driving.
• Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
• Experience in business-to-business sales.
• A strong background in customer service.
