Utilization Management Nurse RN - Remote PST Hours

Job Title

Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday as part of your regular work schedule. Work schedules are either 4/10 hour days or 5/8 hour days. All schedules are in the PST.

If you have the ability to work PST hours, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Determine the appropriateness of inpatient and outpatient services following evaluation of medical guidelines and benefit determination
• Identify solutions to non-standard requests and problems
• Translate concepts into practice
• Act as a resource for others; provide explanations and information on difficult issues

Required Qualifications:

• Unrestricted RN license in state of residence
• 3+ years of Managed Care and/or Clinical experience
• MS Office including Excel
• Utilization Management experience
• Experience working with multiple EMRs (electronic medical records)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pre-authorization experience
• Knowledge of Milliman Criteria

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $58,800 to $105,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
