Warehouse Associate

Manage freight deliveries through processing, identifying, counting, separating, and scanning freight, operating computer software and basic applications to track and identify freight, unloading freight from trailer manually or with power equipment, and maintaining records, logs, and forms. Organize work area through stacking empty pallets and moving empty pallets using a pallet jack or power equipment. Maintain a safe work area through checking the integrity of trailers/pallets (e.g., leaks, pest infestation, trailer damage). Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Apply labels to correct location on freight/pallets/merchandise. Provide basic maintenance to receiving equipment (e.g., cleaning, changing labels, and ribbons).

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.85-$26.35*. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
