Unit Secretary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a Joint Venture with Select Medical and SSM Health, is seeking a Unit Secretary for a PRN position in Bridgeton, MO. The schedule is PRN 7a-7:30p or 8a-8:30p (rotating) and every third weekend in rotation with a compensation of $19.50/PRN rate.

Responsibilities

• Organizes clerical functions of the nursing unit
• Clear communication
• Record keeping, logs, and patient information.
• Notifies the nursing staff and/or charge nurse in a timely manner of pertinent patient information, including physician orders, laboratory or test results, and communication from other departments.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of one year clerical experience preferred in a medical setting required
• Proficient computer skills required

Preferred Experience

• High School Graduate or equivalent preferred
