Role Description:
Operate and administer the UC4/Automic Workload Automation platform.
Design and manage job workflows, chains, calendars, and dependencies.
Schedule and monitor SAP background jobs using UC4 RA agents.
Perform daily health checks and ensure timely execution of critical jobs.
Troubleshoot job failures and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with SAP Basis, application, and infrastructure teams.
Maintain job documentation, SOPs, and recovery procedures.
Implement changes following ITIL-based change management processes.
Provide on-call support and participate in 24x7 job scheduling operations.
Strong hands-on experience with UC4/Automic job scheduling.
Proficiency in SAP job scheduling (SM36, SM37, job variants).
Experience with UC4 scripting for automation and logic handling.
Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, PowerShell, or UC4 scripting).
Understanding of job dependencies involving databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy).
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
