Truck Technician
Research common maintenance/mechanical issues and develop new repair methods for trucks in the U-Haul fleet that effectively address these issues. Identify areas where a new or different part is needed to improve the longevity of the vehicle and/or component. Communicate the problem and solution in written form, video and live demonstration.
Required Skills:
- 3-5 years automotive service, repair and diagnostics experience
- Identify best practices for diagnostic/repair processes
- Basic understanding of electronic/electrical circuit operation
- Perform vehicle repair and maintenance work to meet factory standards
- Experience in diagnosing computer-controlled drive train components
- The ability to detect potential problems with current products and those under development or consideration.
- Acute attention to detail
- Ability to communicate, motivate and organize projects
- Oral communication skills
- Must be flexible and have a positive attitude
