Location: Nationwide Travel Required Industry: Commercial Construction - Drywall, Data Centers, Battery Plants, IMP Installations Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Project Manager / Director of Field Operations
Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Traveling Superintendent with deep experience in drywall systems , metal framing , and insulated metal panel (IMP) installations. The ideal candidate has supervised crews on complex projects like data centers and battery plants , ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day field operations on large-scale industrial projects
  
• Supervise subcontractors and self-perform crews in drywall and IMP scope
  
• Ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance across all site activities
  
• Coordinate deliveries, manpower, equipment, and inspections
  
• Interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately
  
• Collaborate with Project Managers to track schedule milestones and identify issues early
  
• Maintain daily logs, manpower reports, and progress documentation
  
• Enforce company and site-specific safety policies (OSHA compliance a must)
  
• Lead on-site meetings with trades and communicate expectations clearly
  
• Troubleshoot field issues and offer timely solutions
  

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of commercial drywall experience, with at least 3 years in a superintendent role
  
• Hands-on experience with insulated metal panel installation
  
• Field experience on data centers , battery plants , or other critical infrastructure projects
  
• Strong ability to lead, schedule, and motivate field teams
  
• Understanding of construction documents, shop drawings, and specifications
  
• Able to travel extensively nationwide and manage multiple projects as needed
  
• Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar tools
  
• OSHA 30 certification required; CPR/First Aid preferred
