Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week rotating shift position requiring strong abdominal ultrasound experience and Illinois licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based radiology ultrasound department
• Rotating 8-hour shifts with start times between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM
• Every other weekend required, with weekend shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• Performs a variety of ultrasound exams with an emphasis on abdominal procedures
• Some Doppler studies may be performed as part of routine duties
• Shift differential applies to shifts starting at 11:00 AM or later

Requirements

• Current IL License, RDMS, and RVT required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year general ultrasound experience
• Strong abdominal ultrasound experience is required
• Current BLS certification required
• Complete work history with no gaps, up-to-date skills checklist, and current references required for consideration
• Vascular experience preferred for performing some Doppler studies
