8 Hour Days Mon-Thur, Friday 4 Hours

Ultrasound Tech – High Risk Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) / OB

Start Date: 11/17 only

Experience Preferred:

2+ years of recent, relevant high-risk OB ultrasound experience
Start Date Flexibility: Not Flexible
Radius Rule: Must live within 100 miles
EMR: Epic experience required and must be recent
Scheduling:
No 48-hour guarantees
No blocked scheduling requests
No more than 5 days of RTO

Key Requirements:

High Risk OB/MFM Ultrasound experience is REQUIRED
ARDMS Certification – Required
AHA BLS Certification – Required
Education:
- Associate’s Degree in Ultrasound Technology or Graduate of Accredited Sonography Program (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
Nuchal Translucency (NT) Certification – Preferred

Clinical Competencies – MFM Ultrasound Tech III Level:

All Trimesters:
- First trimester: Dating, early anatomic assessment, aneuploidy screening
- Second trimester: Detailed/targeted anatomic assessments
- Third trimester: Anatomic assessments, fetal growth, Doppler studies, antenatal testing
Fetal Imaging:
- Fetal echocardiography (screening & diagnostic)
- Genetic sonograms
- Multiplanar imaging with post-processing
- Multiple gestations assessments
- Ultrasounds for invasive testing (e.g., genetic amniocentesis)
Ultrasound Modalities:
- Transabdominal, transvaginal
- Multiplanar imaging
- Doppler assessments
Gynecologic Assessments (as relevant to pregnancy):
- Cervical assessment
- Adnexal pathology
- Mullerian anomalies
Imaging Protocols:
- Strict adherence to AIUM standards
Additional Duties:
- Assist physicians with additional imaging/biopsy procedures
- Complete exam charges and documentation promptly for radiologist review
- Patient population includes: newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult, geriatric
