Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for weekend 12-hour shifts with required ARDMS certification and 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Diagnostic Imaging department
• Performs all general and vascular ultrasound exams
• Three ultrasound machines are available including 2 GE E10s and a Philips unit
• Uses MEDITECH, PACS, and Fluency systems for processing orders and images
• Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
• Position limited to Diagnostic Imaging unit only
• Will receive both hospital and departmental orientation including equipment and protocols
• Current technologists will provide on-site training
• Scrubs are required as dress code

Requirements

• Current ARDMS certification required
• A minimum of 1 year clinical ultrasound experience
• At least 1 year of vascular ultrasound experience required
• License required if applicable
