Day Shift: 7:00 am - 7:00 pm; 36 hours per week, every other weekend.

Job Description

The Staff Nurse, RN provides professional nursing care through the application of nursing skills and processes to develop, implement, and evaluate patient’s plan of care. The incumbent works collaboratively with other care team members, the physician, and the patient/family to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This role provides direct patient care while managing and conducting the care of 5-6 med/surg telemetry patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards.
• Collaborate with the care team and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Manage the care of multiple med/surg telemetry patients.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and make informed decisions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Experience with pneumonia, chest pain, trach care, and deconditioning preferred.
• Must possess a valid RN license.
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius.
