Surgical Technician | November Start Palo Alto

We're seeking an experienced Surgical Technician for a travel assignment at a leading transplant center in Palo Alto, California. This is an excellent opportunity to assist in high-acuity procedures including liver and kidney transplants, working alongside a skilled surgical team in a cutting-edge environment.

Position Highlights

• Location: Palo Alto, CA
• Setting: Hospital Transplant Surgery
• Start Window: November 10, 2025
• Contract Length: 26 weeks, with potential for extension
• Schedule: 4x10s (40 hours/week)
• Shift: Days

Required Qualifications

• Must be a traveler (permanent address 50+ miles from the facility)
• CST certification
• BLS certification
• 5+ years of Surgical Tech experience
• Experience assisting in liver and kidney transplant surgeries
• EPIC EMR proficiency

Additional Compliance Requirements

• TB Questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable)
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
• Ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, co-workers, and clients; proficiency in English required
• Computer proficiency required

Support transplant surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, assisting surgeons, and ensuring sterile technique. Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe and efficient care in a high-pressure, life-saving environment.
