About The Position
Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: - NBSTSA - BLS Must-Have: - Experience with Davinci Xi Robotic Spinal Fusion - Experience in Orthopedics, including Total Joint Arthroplasty Description: The position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment. The assignment length is 13 weeks. The shift for this position is from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM. On-call duty is required, and the call schedule typically includes about 5-6 shifts in a 4-week period. Experience in Davinci Xi Robotic Spinal Fusion for orthopedic or neurosurgery services is essential. The types of procedures performed include Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, and a variety of Xi Robotic cases. Candidates must have skills in total joints, neuro, and Xi Robots; those without these skills will not be considered for the role. A positive outlook and willingness to work with team members are preferred traits. The unit consists of a variety of Operating Room beds and equipment. The typical patient ratio is 1:1. The staff on day shifts includes nurses and surgical technicians, while night shifts have a charge nurse and one scrub tech in-house. Candidates with patient advocacy skills will be prioritized.
