RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Orthopedic Spine

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (3x12 schedule)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• No call requirements
• Must have 2+ years Medical Surgical experience required
• Orthopedic experience strongly preferred
• Nevada RN license required prior to start
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6
• May be required to float to other units based on organizational needs and competency level
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Eve + Day = 1 holiday)
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Care for patients including total joint replacements, ortho-spine surgeries, fractures, traumas, and medical overflow patients
• Work in a 38-bed unit with all private rooms specializing in Medical Surgical with Orthopedic and Neurosurgery specialty
• Hospital reserves right to call off shifts with 48 hours notice for low census

This regional medical center serves as the only Level II Trauma Center between Sacramento and Salt Lake City, treating over 80,000 ER and trauma patients annually. The facility features 800 in-patient beds and operates as an extremely busy, fast-paced environment serving a 500-mile radius. The center is home to the region's only children's hospital, leading robotic surgery institute, groundbreaking brain and nerve care, and comprehensive heart and cancer services with state-of-the-art facilities and technologies.
