Travel Nursing Job Details

Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Level 2B Special Care Nursery
Location: Salem, Massachusetts (Zip: 01970) – Massachusetts nursing jobs
Unit: S-Birthplace - Special Care Nursery (SCN)
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: November 2, 2025 – End: January 31, 2026)
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required
Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100 - $2250
Electronic Medical Record: EPIC

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact state (required for travel RN jobs in Massachusetts)
Minimum 3 years of recent experience in NICU, Special Care Nursery, or neonatal nursing
BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
Strong clinical skills in neonatal and newborn care
Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and teamwork abilities

Travel RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to newborns in a 25-bed Level 2B Special Care Nursery
Manage patient care for labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery populations
Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Educate and support families throughout their hospital stay
Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for infants and families
