Travel Nursing Job Details

Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Unit: Cardiac Stepdown / Telemetry (Tele) Unit
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/22/2025 – End: 3/23/2026)
Hours per Week: 36
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470–$1570 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (Kansas or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Telemetry, or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
Excellent communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly responding to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications, cardiac treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
Educate patients and families on cardiac health, procedures, and recovery processes
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR)
