POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will provide essential care to patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment. These patients need vigilant observation, but are stable enough not to require Intensive Care Unit (ICU) support. In this role, you will monitor vital signs and cardiac activity, detecting any changes that may lead to life-threatening situations and facilitating timely interventions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 1 year of current experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Current District of Columbia State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one.

CERTIFICATIONS:

• This position may require certifications such as BLS and ACLS.
