Common Diagnoses:

GI Bleed
DKA
Stroke / TIA
Hypertension
NSTEMI
COPD
CHF
Other intermediate/stepdown-level conditions

Work Setting Systems:

Epic (Charting)
Pyxis (Medication Management)
SBAR (Communication Framework)

Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Schedule & Shift Information

RTO: Maximum 7 days
Weekends: Every other weekend (unless otherwise specified)
Floating: Yes, throughout the facility or to sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South)
Holidays:
- Must work one major holiday if one falls during assignment
- Must work two if two holidays fall during assignment
- Must work two if three holidays fall during assignment

Major Holidays Include:

New Year’s Eve & Day: December 31 & January 1
Spring Break: April 6–April 12 (No RTO allowed)
Memorial Day: May 26
Independence Day: July 4
Labor Day: September 1
Thanksgiving/Black Friday: November 27 & 28
Christmas Eve & Day: December 24 & 25
