Overview:Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Traveling Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team in Missouri. Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.
Our Centurion Eagles Traveling Nurses are part of a travel team and work between various correctional facilities, while enjoying the benefits of having convenient block scheduling, outstanding benefits, exceptional compensation, and lodging/meal stipends.
Responsibilities:The Travel LPN will work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Missouri, per contract needs. The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Licensed Practical Nurses work under the direction of Registered Nurses, medical, and psychiatric staff to respond to a range of physical and mental health needs.
Qualifications:- Missouri LPN license or ability to obtain license
- Compact Licensure preferred
- At least two (2) years of LPN experience
- IV Certification preferred for LPNs
- Must have open availability to travel throughout the state of Missouri as needed per contract needs
- Current CPR
- Corrections experience not required, but preferred
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
