Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)

Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470 - $1570

PICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Kansas or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent PICU nursing experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment
CRRT experience and APHON certification preferred
Experience with Meditech EMR is a plus

PICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU
Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements as needed
Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, desk techs, dietary, and case management staff
Monitor and operate critical care equipment, including CRRT and general CR monitoring devices
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Meditech EMR
Support a positive, team-oriented culture and contribute to teaching hospital initiatives
