JOB DESCRIPTIONAbout Facility:Outpatient Clinic within Cabarrus – Concord, NC- Minimum Experience required: 3 years of post-residency experience completed- Required: CMP (Certified Medical Physicist - Therapy) through ABR (American Board of Radiology)Preferred: BLS, ACLSSkills required:Oncology backgroundPerforms QA on equipment as requiredMachine maintenance done daily/weekly/monthlyPerforms delivery of non-standard, standard, and complicated treatment planning and techniques, which may include high dose radiation (HDR), low dose radiation (LDR), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT)Performs radiation surveys of treatment roomsCalibrates various therapy machinesLinear accelerators - Varian TrueBeam Measures instruments against national standards, measures therapy beam data for treatment planning purposesFamiliar with guided radiation therapy – familiar with IT/chart checks/QACT imaging – PhilipsSoft skills: Strong communication with the interdisciplinary team#11
