In this vital role, you will provide specialized therapy services designed to enhance mobility, strength, and overall functionality for patients who need extended care.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' physical conditions and create customized treatment plans to meet their recovery needs.
Develop therapy programs aimed at improving mobility, strength, coordination, and pain management during extended care stays.
Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians and nurses, to implement comprehensive patient care plans effectively.
Educate patients on exercises and techniques that promote continued recovery after they leave the LTAC facility.
Accurately document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on clinical outcomes.

Work Environment:

This role is set in LTAC hospitals, where physical therapists support patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions requiring intensive rehabilitation.
The position requires physical stamina as it involves assisting patients with mobility exercises throughout a busy healthcare environment.
