Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a WI or compact RN license and flexibility with call and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a surgical operating room setting
• Primarily in Surgery 001, with possible work in PACU, GI, Pre/Post, ENT, general, ortho, and podiatry cases
• Shift is 05:50-15:30 with flexible shift times
• Call is required every other day and every other weekend, starting Friday at 15:00 through Monday at 07:00 as needed
• May need to float onsite within skill set or to other sites within 40 miles as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Must be willing to work in various perioperative areas as needed
• May assist in a variety of surgical services including ENT, general, orthopedics, podiatry, and endoscopy
• Holiday coverage required as assigned
• Scrub attire or dress code as per facility standards
• All positions are auto offer
• Local candidates are accepted with a reduced rate per facility radius rule
• Specific radius rule distance varies by state

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license, with current license and primary source verification required prior to assignment
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in surgery or operating room
• Current BLS certification (AHA required)
• Current ACLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and a US home address
