POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse, you will play a vital role in the care of critically ill children and adolescents facing life-threatening conditions. Working in a high-tech Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), you will provide constant monitoring and specialized care for medically complex patients, including those who are post-surgical. This role requires collaboration with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to determine the best patient care strategies.

The weekly wage will be scaled based on estimated hourly earnings and potential stipends available for the assignment location. Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of current experience in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU).
• California State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one.

Certifications Required:

• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS may be required.
