Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed Operating Room RN Circulator experienced in ortho and gyn cases for 8-hour day shifts and rotating call.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital operating room with circulating and scrub duties
• Cases include orthopedic and gynecological surgeries
• Shifts are 7:00am to 3:30pm, schedule may vary based on caseload
• Requires every third weekend call with three-nurse staffing, and weekday call as needed
• Self-scheduling is available
• Orientation is fully paid
• Familiarity with National Patient Safety Goals is expected
• Must be knowledgeable in alarm management, infection prevention, patient identification, medication safety, and risk identification
• Hospital does not have COVID-19 vaccination requirements
• Up to three shifts may be called off during a 13-week period due to low caseload

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, and PALS
• Experience in orthopedic and gynecological cases required
