Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a Same Day Surgery position in Nevada requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and an active NV RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Same Day Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes surgical patients requiring same day procedures
• Varied shifts with no blocked scheduling allowed
• 13-week assignment duration
• Must use Epic EMR, with training provided during orientation or option to test out
• Must work at least 2 major holidays during the contract
• Returning travelers must observe a 13-week break between assignments
• All RTO must be requested up front and will not be added to the end of the contract
• Timekeeping is managed via Kronos
• Orientation provided with Epic EMR training or testing out option

Requirements

• Active NV RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• BLS and other certifications must be AHA-approved
• No local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
