Job Summary:
The Operating Room Registered Nurse provides safe and efficient patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. The RN ensures adherence to sterile techniques, supports surgical teams, and maintains patient safety throughout the perioperative process.

Schedule Details:

• 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Rotating call schedule including weekdays and weekends (split between Call 1 and Call 2)
• Possible holiday call rotation based on staffing and census needs
• May float to other facilities within the system to meet OR staffing requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in accordance with facility policies and AORN standards
• Circulate and assist during surgical procedures across multiple specialties
• Monitor patient status and communicate effectively with surgical team members
• Maintain and prepare sterile instruments and operating environments
• Document procedures and care in the EMR system (Epic)
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Active RN License (State or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS (AHA)
• Minimum 3 years of current/recent Operating Room experience
• Proficiency in Epic EMR

Preferred Experience:

• Robotic, Neuro, and Orthopedic surgical experience
