Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse

Duration: 13-week contract
Shift: 8-hour day shifts (06:45 AM – 03:15 PM), Monday–Friday
Hours per Week: 40
On-Call: One night every 2 weeks and one weekend every 6 weeks (may extend based on case load)

Qualifications – Operating Room Registered Nurse

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Nursys verification required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an OR RN in a busy operating room setting
Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system
Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Completion of all onboarding health and competency requirements (drug screening, immunizations, skills checklists)

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care for a variety of surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes
Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate patient documentation and management
Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Demonstrate adaptability and clinical excellence in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
