Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level I trauma and advanced neuro and robotics experience for evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room of a Level I Trauma Center
• Neuro-focused OR role with procedures such as ALIF, anterior cervical fusion, craniotomy, kyphoplasty, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, and XLIF
• Requires experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Four 10-hour evening shifts per week, 11:00 to 21:30, with rotating days off
• Weekend shifts may be scheduled as needed
• Call required: approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Responsibilities include assisting with advanced neuro and robotic surgical procedures
• Return staff must not have worked at the facility within the past year
• Orientation modules to be completed prior to start; first 8 hours are non-billable
• Flexible RTO is offered as long as time is made up

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of prior OR RN experience required
• Level I Trauma Center experience is required
• Advanced neuro OR skills and robotics experience (Da Vinci Xi) are required
• Locals not accepted; must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
• References required for consideration
