This Hospital is a 49 bed acute care, community-based, not-for-profit hospital serving residents of COASTAL Northern California and COASTAL Southern Oregon. This hospital is affiliated with the largest health system in CA and a national leader in non-profit exceptional patient care.
As a Travel Occupational Therapist in our Inpatient Rehab department, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, organizing, and participating in rehabilitative programs to enhance vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, promoting independence in individuals with disabilities or developmental delays.
- Building rapport and fostering cooperation among patients, their families/support groups, and healthcare providers through comprehensive patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and clear communication.
- Ensuring adherence to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to safeguard patient privacy and safety while delivering exceptional care.
- Providing clinical supervision for assistants and aides, and serving as a clinical instructor for assigned students.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Certification & Licensure: OT - Occupational Therapist, BLS - Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent relevant experience.
