Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Telemetry Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cardiac care, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac dysrhythmias, ACS, CHF, respiratory failure, pneumonia, and stroke.
• Administer prescribed medications and manage IV therapy, including central and peripheral line care.
• Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary support services including respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and physical therapy.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and care procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Maryland RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
