Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Oncology position requiring APHON certification and at least two years of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based 4K Hematology/Oncology pediatric unit
• Deliver care to pediatric oncology and hematology patients
• Position is for 12-hour night shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Candidates must be nicotine free for eligibility
• Fit testing is required as part of onboarding
• The work environment is focused on pediatric hematology and oncology care
• Must provide current work history and a recent reference for consideration
• Holiday shifts may be excluded from requested time off
• Religious or medical exemptions for required vaccinations must be signed by an MD

Requirements

• Active AR or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric oncology clinical experience required
• APHON certification required for consideration
• BLS certification required
• BMT transplant experience preferred
• Must be able to pass a fit test with no facial hair, unless for religious reasons
• Must pass a nicotine test prior to start
• Flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemption accepted
