Facility: Modern, highly respected medical center
Unit: Pre-op/PACU (2nd Floor, 15 beds)
Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/23/2026)
Shift: 12 Hour Days (8A – 8P), with potential for 2 on-call shifts/month
Hours per Week: 36
Patient Ratio: 2:1
Technology: GE Monitors, EMR: Meditech
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1470–$1570 per week

PACU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Colorado or compact state)
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience required
Pre-op nursing experience preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to excel in a fast-paced clinical environment

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Pre-op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) settings
Monitor and assess patients during Phase I recovery and Phase II discharge
Document patient care using advanced EMR systems and GE Monitors
Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Respond to on-call nursing needs as scheduled
Maintain professionalism and adaptability in a dynamic hospital environment
