Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN with recent trauma experience and an active NH or compact license for a high-tech surgical environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a large, state-of-the-art Operating Room setting with 26 suites
• Performs both inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Treats patients across all age groups: neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric
• Cases include ENT, general surgery, ortho, plastics, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, oral surgery, neuro, robotics, vascular, cardiac, and thoracic surgery
• Available schedules: 4x10 day shifts or 3x12 shifts
• Required to cover 5 off shifts (12-hour shifts or on-call, day or night) during the 13-week contract
• Holiday availability is required
• Responsibilities include circulating and, if experienced, scrubbing for a wide variety of surgical cases
• Work environment involves frequent collaboration with multi-disciplinary surgical teams
• Holiday coverage is mandatory
• Applicants must maintain licensure compliance throughout the assignment

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• 2-3 years of recent OR RN experience required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
• Scrubbing experience highly preferred but not mandatory
• No local candidates allowed; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
