Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with at least 2 years of specialty experience and an active GA or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a hospital Operating Room setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 am to 7:00 pm, three shifts per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• Not accepting candidates who live within 50 miles
• Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, and 1 minor holiday: Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
• Permanent staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break from former employment
• Requests for time off must be submitted prior to offer and will not be accepted after
• Compliance and credentialing must be fully completed prior to start
• Badge photo required upon offer acceptance

Requirements

• Active Georgia or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
