Job Description

American Traveler seeks an experienced Operating Room RN with strong scrub experience and EPIC proficiency for a flexible dayshift role in New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Hospital operating room setting with exposure to multiple surgical specialties
• 8-hour day shifts with flexibility required for occasional evening coverage
• Required on-call during weekdays from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. approximately 1-3 times per 5-6 days
• Weekend coverage required about every 5-6 weeks, from Friday afternoon to Monday morning
• Scrub experience strongly preferred and will be prioritized for consideration
• Must have own vehicle for transportation
• Participate in both circulating and scrub nurse responsibilities as needed for surgical procedures
• No accommodations for alternative shift lengths such as 10 or 12-hour shifts
• Applicants must not request more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO)
• Weekend and on-call rotation are part of the scheduling
• Dress code or scrub color requirements not specified
• Permanent address must be provided at the time of application

Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent operating room RN experience
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• Strongly prefer RNs with previous scrub experience
• Experience with multiple surgical specialties required
• EPIC EMR experience required
