Job Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Grants Pass, OR
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 5x8 Hour Day Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care during operative and invasive procedures.
• Prepare the operating room for surgery, including setting up instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and safe surgical care.
• Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
• Monitor patients’ physical and emotional well-being throughout procedures.
• Document all care provided and ensure compliance with nursing and surgical protocols.

Requirements:

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• Experience with Orthopedics, Podiatry, Gynecology, and General Surgery cases is preferred.
