**Job Title: Oncology Med/Tele RN**
**Shift: Nights - 12HR (7P-7A / 7A-7P Day/Night Rotation)**
**Contract Duration: 13 Weeks**

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Med/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute medical-surgical nursing, specifically in the treatment of patients with conditions such as osteomyelitis, chemotherapy-related complications, small bowel obstruction (SBO), and sepsis. This position involves a combination of day and night shifts, requiring flexibility and the ability to adapt to the needs of the facility.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients in a med/tele setting.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions and vital signs regularly.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records using EPIC charting system.
- Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.

**Shift Information:**
- Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with the possibility of rotating day shifts.
- Commitment to working one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend.
- Required to work at least one holiday per contract.

**Required Qualifications:**
- Active New York RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute medical-surgical experience.
- Chemo certification.
- NIH and AHA BLS certifications.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience for non-U.S. candidates.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- 2 years of recent acute medical-surgical experience.

**Additional Information:**
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles away from the facility. Flexibility according to scheduling needs is essential, and block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed.
