Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level III NICU in Wisconsin, requiring a WI or compact RN license and at least 3 years of Level III or IV NICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Level III, 22-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Work schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio ranges from 1:2 to 1:3 depending on acuity
• Requires floating to pediatric unit as needed based on census
• Holiday and weekend rotations are required, with every 3rd weekend worked depending on approved time off
• EPIC charting system is used and experience is preferred
• Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions
• Scrub color is any professional scrubs
• A single small stud nose piercing is permitted; other visible facial piercings are not allowed except ears, with clear or flesh-colored plugs acceptable
• Looking for resilient, adaptable team members with strong social skills

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN) required
• Minimum of 3 years of Level III or IV NICU experience required
• Pediatric experience is preferred
