Job Title: RN NICU

Job Description:

The RN provides direct and indirect patient care, performing nursing and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; providing health education and counseling; administering treatment; and coordinating with other healthcare professionals. The RN upholds the mission and values of SCL Health and ensures compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care
• Assess patient health and implement care plans
• Provide education, counseling, and support
• Administer medications and treatments
• Document care per regulations
• Float between units or take on-call shifts as needed

Required:

• ASN from accredited School of Nursing
• RN license (state of practice)
• BLS (AHA certified)

Preferred:

• BSN degree
• Prior RN experience
• Relevant specialty certifications (ACLS, PALS, etc.)
