Qualifications:

2 Years Minimum Experience REQUIRED
1st Time Travelers are ACCEPTED
Locals are ACCEPTED
REQUIRED Certs: ACLS, BLS

Skills REQUIRED:

Teamwork approach to patient care, Focus on patient safety

PREFERRED Skills:

PREFERRED Certs: NIH
Neuro exp preferred, Experience/willing to learn the charge nurse role preferred

JOB DETAILS:

Ratios: 1:6
Shift: NIGHT 36 or 48 hours accepted.
13-26 weeks accepted
RTO: 7 days MAX;
Float Requirement: yes, travelers float first
Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: General medicine, focus on neuro

UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCRUBS: Navy Blue
