Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical

Location: Washington, KS

Unit: Med/Surg ER

Shift: 12-hour Night

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in the Med/Surg ER.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and health maintenance.
• Respond effectively to medical emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

• Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

  Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of Kansas.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work a 12-hour night shift schedule.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
