Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and recent Med/Surg Tele travel experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital environment
Patient care involves telemetry monitoring of adult medical-surgical patients
Use the Epic electronic medical records system
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
Must work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's
Only 1 day of requested time off allowed between 11/26/25-11/30/25 and 12/23/25-1/2/26
One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years of employment is required
Previous employees may not be eligible if employed by the client in the past 12 months

Requirements

Active IA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
At least 2 years of recent Med/Surg Tele experience required
At least 1 completed travel contract in a similar setting required
Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and NIHSS are required
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Must reside more than 50 miles from the market location
