Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state – required for Kansas nursing jobs
At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
First-time travel nurses welcome to apply

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
Administer medications and perform physician-ordered treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and health management
Float to other hospital units as needed
