Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg weekend position requiring a NE or Compact RN license and recent Med/Surg experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg unit
• Patient population consists of general medical and surgical patients
• 12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 6:00am to 6:00pm
• No mention of floating or on-call requirements in this posting
• Provide nursing care for a variety of medical and surgical patients
• Weekend shift commitment is required for this position
• Current verification of license and required certifications will be checked with issuing agencies

Requirements

• Active NE or Compact RN license required
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience required
