Now Hiring: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg and Tele (Neuro Cardiac Unit)
Location: Newburgh, IN
Schedule: Day and night shifts available (630-7); every weekend and every other holiday rotation; 48-hour schedule possible
Duration: 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care in alignment with established protocols
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Experience with post cardiac caths with interventions, CVA/TIA, ICD, complex abdominal surgeries, and oncology.
• Floating is possible to 2 other local hospitals
Qualifications:
• Active RN or compact license in Indiana
• At least 1 travel assignment completed and Level 2 Trauma experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Strong Tele/Med/Surg experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
• Dysphagia Screen and Strong Neuro assessment skills are required
• Travelers required to pass a Tele test
• Must have experience to initiate and titrate drips (heparin, insulin, cardiac, etc.) heart cath recovery (fem. & TR bands) and have strong critical thinking skills
• Prefer experience with NG/PEG tubes, PIV Insertion, Tikosyn doing, and chest tubes
• EPIC experience is required
