Shift: Nights – 3×12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 of 4 major holidays (Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day)
Floating: Required as needed; all travelers may float across all Cone Health facilities

Experience & Requirements

Minimum Experience: 2 years recent Med/Surg or Observation experience
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Preferred Experience: Previous Charge RN experience

Licensure & Certifications

Required:
- AHA BLS
Testing: Must pass EKG exam during onboarding

Unit Overview

Observation and Med/Surg unit caring for a diverse patient population, including:
- Observation patients
- Respiratory conditions and complications
- General medical-surgical diagnoses
- Palliative, End-of-Life, and Hospice patients
- Psychiatric observation
- Diabetes (including new diagnoses and complications)
- Surgical and post-surgical observation patients
